Our Story
Neatly positioned on White Lake between the ports of Pentwater and Muskegon, Crosswinds Marine Service is less than 5 miles from Lake Michigan.
We have been located in Whitehall, MI on scenic White Lake for the past [years_in_service] years. As a family owned and operated business, we provide consistency and reliability and a philosophy to “Treat others how you want to be treated.”
Throughout the last [years_in_service] years, we have had the privilege to meet a lot of boaters and form some wonderful relationships, not only with the owners, but their boats as well! We look forward to continuing those relationships and creating many more over the yers to come.

Dale Harsch
General Manager
Dale came to Whitehall, Michigan in 1986 to build Crosswinds Marine Service. He has been the driving force behind the development of the marina. Dale’s passion for engines started at a young age. He rebuilt his first engine at the age of 14. In his early years he participated in the Plymouth troubleshooting contest and was ranked nationally.
Dale attended Wyoming Technical Institute in Laramie, Wyoming. He is a certified Mercruiser Technician and continues his Mercruiser training annually. He is also certified in Yanmar, Crusader Marine, Kohler generators and is trained on many other systems.
Elaine Harsch
Accounting / Office Manager
Elaine came to Whitehall, Michigan in 1986 to help build Crosswinds Marine Service. Elaine attended the University of Illinois. She currently serves as the Chairman for the White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and has volunteered for the Red Cross.
